How soon can you start my project?

Our schedule usually books 2–4 weeks out. Once we receive your signed estimate and deposit, we lock in material orders and give you a firm start date—no shifting windows.

Do you handle permits and inspections?

Yes. For projects requiring permits (structural changes, new builds, large decks), we prepare the paperwork, submit it to the county, and coordinate all inspections so you don’t have to chase approvals.

What work do you subcontract?

We self-perform everything except licensed HVAC and major electrical service upgrades. When those trades are needed, we bring in vetted partners and manage their timelines under our contract.

How do you price jobs—fixed bid or hourly?

Full remodels and new builds are quoted as fixed bids with a detailed scope and payment schedule. Small handyman tasks are priced per job, plus materials at cost.

Are you insured and bonded?

Absolutely. Young Guns carries $2 million in general liability, workers’ comp for each crew member, and is bonded for residential construction in West Virginia and Virginia. Certificates are available upon request.
